Martha and Justin's Wedding

Martha married Justin Hawkes on November 21, 2008. He is such a great, fun guy and I am so happy he is a part of our family. You would think I would have got a good picture of them on their big day but nope this is the best one I got. I hope their photographer did better. This one is at their reception.

Hayden and me at her lunch.
Camille and Hayden. I love this picture so much! It looks like Hayden is smiling!

Bath Time

Hayden is taking his first real bath. His cord took awhile falling off all the way but it finally did come off. So here he is in the kitchen sink.

Fall Leaves

I just love the fall leaves and wish there was more time to enjoy them. Josie and I went out the other day and raked up a pile to play in. We had so much fun!!! I am just loving these days with my little Josie... she is my little pal. She has grown right up on me since little Hayden was born and I am realizing just how fast the time goes by and so I want to enjoy each moment with my little ones. They are so precious and I am so grateful for them both. They bring so much love and laughter into our home.

Late Halloween Pics

Here is some late Halloween pictures! Josie, the little chicken, Matt the old man, Marcus is Hulk, and Zac is the big chicken. As you can see from the picture Josie was not happy about being in this picture with the rest of them. She was scared of all of them in their costumes. Thank goodness Grandpa Hadlock didn't dress up and could take her out trick or treating!

Cute Pictures of My Babies!

Leaving the Hospital

So we were planning on only being at the hospital for just the 24 hours but right before it was time to leave the nurse came in to tell us that Hayden had jaundice and so he had to stay another night and under the lights. I know this happens to lots of babies but it was really upsetting to me at first especially when they said he would just stay in the nursery and I could go home still. In the end though they let us just stay in our room and he stayed in there with us so I could be with him and nurse him. It was a long night and we were so happy when they finally gave us the ok to leave. Grammie Pammie bought him his cute little outfit to go home in. She helped us out so much watching Josie and spoiling us all! Thanks so much!

Hayden's Arrival

I am finally getting around to blogging about Hayden's arrival and he turned two weeks already. I know Marcus put up some pictures but I want to also. Whenever I think about Hayden and his arrival I am overcome by thankfulness. It was such a change from Josie's. It is important to me to have my babies "natural" or unmedicated and so when one of my friends, Littia Sellers, started teaching Hypnobabies I was all about it. Marcus and I took the classes from her and loved it, especially me. It helped me so much to prepare, both physically and emotionally. Without some of the things I learned I am sure it wouldn't have turned out quite the same. Instead of being in the hospital for almost twelve hours and pushing for two before Josie came, I was able to do most of it at home where I could relax better and then we were only at the hospital for an hour and a half and pretty much no pushing before Hayden came. I would defintely recommend Hypnobabies for anyone who wants to have a baby "natural". The recovery has been better too.
