Cousins and more Cousins!

We have had an eventful couple of weeks. And you would think I have pictures but I don't.... I seemed to forget my camera for everything!
About two weeks ago we got a visit from Grammie Pammie, Aunt Laura, Uncle Matt, and Aunt Beth, and her kiddos, Hannah, Braxton, and Grayson. They were here for about 4 days and we had lots and lots of fun with them! Josie LOVES her cousins and can't get enough of them. Every morning she would wake up and say, "I need to go see my cousins!" One of the days we went to Thanksgiving Point to see the farm animals. The kids loved riding the ponies and feeding the animals. Hayden would pick up whatever he could find and try to feed it to them.... the goats were especially fun to feed. Josie had on a little yellow bracelet and the goats kept trying to get it thinking it was the corn. We found out that they have free ice cream cones for the kids at the deli there and 25 cent ones for everyone else so we had to stop by there for a treat. We then went up to Cabela's to looks at the animals there. Jenn-Lee brought her girls down from Layton and met us for all of it. All the grand kids on Marcus's side were all there. Another day we went on a picnic down by the marina in Saratoga Springs. Dan and Jenn-Lee came down again. It was a gorgeous day and perfect for a picnic. The kids loved playing there! They are all busy kids so we had our hands full making sure no one fell in the lake. I know Beth and Jenn-Lee took some pictures so hopefully I can get some copies! Thanks for coming guys and please come back soon! We loved having you!
Then that Sunday we met with my family for family pictures with everyone! This has never happened in my family since my brother left on his mission in 1996. So now our family is even bigger and harder to get together for pictures so I am so glad we were finally able to do it. My brother Joel came up with his family from Texas so it was the perfect time to do it! I'll post pics when I get them. Josie and Hayden got to be with all their cousins from my side too! I love that my kids have so many cousins.... they are so lucky!
That week my parents stayed up in Park City and rented two big condos so we all took turns staying up there and playing. I took the kids up on Tuesday and didn't come home til Sunday! We had so much fun up there. Marcus came up and joined us on Thursday night. We loved running through the halls, swimming, riding the buses, shopping, riding bikes, eating, the elevators (or as Josie says the alligators) the kids play area, and especially being with cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents! Thanks so much mom and dad for letting us come hang out with you guys!
Really though I am so glad my kids have family and cousins to be with. I loved growing up with so many cousins so I love that my kids will have the same. Family is so great! Josie still keeps talking about "my cousins".

Easter Weekend Fun!

The Sunday before Easter.
Hayden was sick so he didn't get dressed up.

Coloring Easter eggs... Martha and Justin came over to help. I am surprised how much Josie and Hayden loved doing this. There hands were very stained afterwards.

Easter morning seeing what the Easter bunny brought them.

Sunday morning we drove up to my parents to watch Conference. After everyone came over for dinner and an Easter egg hunt. The kids even found some money in their eggs from Grandpa.

My little cheese ball!

All the kids getting ready to go find eggs.

And another one of Hayden coloring eggs!
I think it is kinds of funny that there are no pictures of Marcus and I but I seriously didn't get a single one of us this weekend. Oh well the kids are cuter anyway!

To the Zoo

One Saturday we thought, oh what can we do?
We made lots of suggestions, mine was the Zoo
and so we decided that would be fun!
and so off we went to smell the animal poo

It was a little cold, but we dressed up warm and snug
Each time we came to a new cage upon my arms my children would tug
They loved the the elephant, the giraffes, and the Monkeys a ton!
and we finished the day with a great big hug

Dress Up and a Tea Party!

About a week ago we went to have dinner with some old friends of Marcus's. We had lots of fun! And yummy, yummy, food. Thanks so much Tina and Brandy! And the kids did too... here is them playing dress up.

I took Josie and Hayden to my sister Annie's for a tea party. My mom and other sister Sarah, joined us with her kids. It is so fun to be with cousins and I am so glad Josie and Hayden have so many. Josie loves dressing up and she loves princesses even though I don't think she has even seen a princess movie. Hayden is just there for the food:)

Here is Hayden, Christal, Joseph, Stacy, and Ben

Matt, Ashley, and Josie
And I would like to make it clear that Matt and Joseph are ONLY participating because that is the only way they got to eat lunch. They are boys and they are not into the whole tea party thing!

Happenings!

The month of December came and went so quickly this year, I hardly had time to enjoy it! We really did have a lot of fun though... how could we not with two little, busy ones! Kids make Christmas SO much fun! It is like living it all over again. We found a cute little tree and Josie and Hayden loved decorating it and undecorating and decorating it.... over and over again:) For Christmas we drove down to New Mexico and surprised Marcus's family (most of them had no idea we were coming). We had so much fun being with family and hanging out. Josie and Hayden LOVE LOVE their cousins, Hannah, Braxton, and Grayson! And well I wish I had taken lots of pictures but I really only took a few so I won't bother with putting any.

And now January is here and half way gone! While we haven't really done anything super exciting... it has been a good couple of weeks. I am enjoying being a mother so much! Josie and Hayden are at such fun ages, everyday they are surprising me and making me laugh. Josie is talking a whole bunch now so she is starting to say lots of funny things and I must tell her so because the other day I heard her say "Mommy I is funny!" She is also good at letting me know when she is mad... and the other day she came to me with a sad face and said, "Mommy, Hayden is mad at me." Hayden on the other hand doesn't say much but he sure pulls some funny faces. He will come up to me, pat me on the leg, and when I look at him he will be pulling some goofy face. I sure love these two kiddos! And they are such great little pals! I love how well they play together, it makes my job much easier!

We are also happy to announce that we are having another baby! I am about 13 weeks along and due July 24th. It has been a pretty good pregnancy so far as far as pregnancy goes:) Lots of being tired, sick when I don't eat, picky about food and smells, and already gaining weight! I feel blessed though cause I know from experience that it could be a lot worse. I think though I am starting to get some of my energy back and am less nauseous now. Yeah! The kids don't really get it since they are still so little but Josie now tells me she has a baby in her tummy too! She will be great though when the baby does come, she already is the best little mommy to her dolls and stuffed animals! I felt strongly a few months back that we were supposed to have another one and while it always is an adjustment, I feel blessed!
