Pregnancy!

So somehow this time around being pregnant I have neglected to keep track of all the happenings and I have taken very few pictures of myself and the growing baby and belly. I think I will blame it on my busy kids and the fact that I feel like me pregnant is just not so attractive. That being said I don't want this baby to feel like it is any less important than my other two. I know one day I will and maybe the baby too will want to know/remember some of these times. So here is all the happenings that I can remember from this pregnancy (and some pictures too).
Valentine's Day so about 15 or 16 weeks.

We found out we were expecting another baby the middle of November. Yes it was planned. I had known for a couple of months that we were supposed to have another so it wasn't too big of a surprise for Marcus or I. The first few months were relatively easy, not too much of being sick, just a little here and there, so thank you baby! It would have been kind of hard to be sick all the time and to chase my two little monkeys around.
We decided to go a little different route this time in terms of a doctor and delivery. I have always wanted to try a water birth and they don't do those at the hospital so I found a birthing center in Orem that I am going to. It is called Bella Natal. There are midwives there and it is really low key. It has been a different experience cause they kind of just leave everything up to me and Marcus. I like it but at times I find myself wondering if maybe they should do more but then again on my other two pregnancies I thought they were a little too involved in things so I think I like this better... we will see for sure though after delivery.
I mentioned to Marcus at the first that since we have a girl and a boy maybe we could let this one be a surprise. Marcus loved the idea and at first I still wasn't quite sure but now I think it has been lots of fun! It was harder for me before I hit 20 weeks but then after I could find out then I was fine with waiting. So we are still waiting to find out what this cute little munchkin is. I have gone back and forth on what I think it is so no I don't have any clue of what it is. We don't have full names yet for a girl or a boy so that will be a surprise too.
I started feeling the baby move around 13 or 14 weeks. I know that sounds early but I swear I did. And even now it is a pretty active little thing. Marcus was able to feel it probably somewhere around 20 -21 weeks. I can now see my belly moving... it moves a lot during the day but it is especially active at night time. The end of March so about 21 or 22 weeks.
Josie and Hayden love to touch and kiss my belly. I love how excited they get about it and it isn't even here yet! Josie is convinced she has a baby in her belly too! She hears me say things about me and my belly and now repeats those things... some people might think it is a little crazy but oh well. I just hope she isn't disappointed when I come home with a baby and she doesn't. I'm sure she will just take over the mothering of this baby though. One funny thing... the other day she fell and she got up and said, "oh no I need to be careful, I don't want to hurt the baby!" and she patted her stomach. I thought it was so funny... it really it pretty real to her I guess. They come with me to all of my appointments and love to hear the heart beat. Then we come home and Josie plays doctor and checks the baby some more, and now Hayden is starting to like to do it too.Hayden giving some love to the baby. He is laughing even though it is kind of a funny picture of it. He loves kissing and doing this to my tummy. This is 33 weeks.

So I am now 34 weeks.... which seems like I have come a long way and it seems so close and then on the other hand it still seems so far away. I am fine though with the time I have left... I am still preparing for the delivery and the idea of having 3 kids. It has gotten to the pretty uncomfortable stage especially at night time but oh well I guess that is just a little sacrifice I have to pay for the joy of having another special spirit in our home. I am very excited about meeting this little one! It is so fun to see the uniqueness of a new baby and marvel at the miracle of life.

All these pictures were taken last
week at 33 weeks. My good friend Nicole took them for me. I have never done pregnant pictures and didn't really want to this time seeing my size but decided I better because of the lack of pictures I have of this pregnancy. They were actually really fun to do and turned out good I think.

Little Laughs!

Whenever Marcus comes home I feel like I have a million stories about the funny things the kids did that day! I never want to forget some of these cute things so I decided I needed to start keeping track! These two little ones really keep me going... they make life so much fun! It is hard to have a bad day or to get too mad with them around. Some of the things they do can be very naughty but I am learning to just laugh cause they really are SO sweet and get bigger every day! I know one day I am going to miss all this craziness!
Hayden is starting to talk a lot but it is mostly just words so he doesn't say all the funny things Josie does but he is such a funny boy to watch! Not to mention a little bit naughty! I had just got him ready to go somewhere and was getting Josie ready when I found him like this. I guess he found my liquid eyeliner. He seemed to know that it went around your eyes!

Josie: Mommy, stop talking!
Daddy: You don't talk to mommy that way!
Josie: Mommy please be quiet!
She is persistent! I couldn't help but laugh and then obey cause I tell her that enough times in a day!

Hayden is crying and so I turn around and Josie is trying to grab his hands.
Me: Josie, please don't touch Hayden, he doesn't like it.
Josie: Mommy, I'm trying to dance with my prince.
She is obsessed with princesses and princes. She knows girls are princesses and boy are princes and when she gets bigger she will find her prince. It is funny to me cause she has never even seen a Disney princess movie. She seems to know everything about them though and knows they are always dancing.

Hayden has learned the word "please". He is very good at using it too. When I tell him no or he needs to wait his turn or whatever he very sweetly says, "please". And most of the time it works:)

I was changing in front of Josie the other day and she looks up and sees my bare belly.
Josie: Whoa mommy! Why your tummy so big like grandpa's!

She needed to go to the bathroom so I was trying to help her.
Josie: No mommy I do it by myself. Don't help!
Me: Josie it is ok for mommy to help you sometimes.
Josie: No! Girls don't need help.
Oh ok... I guess I didn't realize that.

Josie: Mommy, daddy will come home soon so I can dance with my prince.

Me to Josie: Come here little girl.
Josie: No mommy don't call me little girl, call me chica.
Me: Oh chica huh? Where did you hear that?
Josie: Leah call me that. (Leah is my little sister) I chica.
And she has actually corrected me a few times... No mommy call me chica. So my little chica it is:)

One morning when Marcus and I were both very tired and she was in bed with us watching TV.
Josie: Mommy read me a story.
Me: No Josie, I still need to sleep.
Opening the curtains.
Josie: No mommy it isn't time to sleep... Look the sun is getting up.

Cousins and more Cousins!

We have had an eventful couple of weeks. And you would think I have pictures but I don't.... I seemed to forget my camera for everything!
About two weeks ago we got a visit from Grammie Pammie, Aunt Laura, Uncle Matt, and Aunt Beth, and her kiddos, Hannah, Braxton, and Grayson. They were here for about 4 days and we had lots and lots of fun with them! Josie LOVES her cousins and can't get enough of them. Every morning she would wake up and say, "I need to go see my cousins!" One of the days we went to Thanksgiving Point to see the farm animals. The kids loved riding the ponies and feeding the animals. Hayden would pick up whatever he could find and try to feed it to them.... the goats were especially fun to feed. Josie had on a little yellow bracelet and the goats kept trying to get it thinking it was the corn. We found out that they have free ice cream cones for the kids at the deli there and 25 cent ones for everyone else so we had to stop by there for a treat. We then went up to Cabela's to looks at the animals there. Jenn-Lee brought her girls down from Layton and met us for all of it. All the grand kids on Marcus's side were all there. Another day we went on a picnic down by the marina in Saratoga Springs. Dan and Jenn-Lee came down again. It was a gorgeous day and perfect for a picnic. The kids loved playing there! They are all busy kids so we had our hands full making sure no one fell in the lake. I know Beth and Jenn-Lee took some pictures so hopefully I can get some copies! Thanks for coming guys and please come back soon! We loved having you!
Then that Sunday we met with my family for family pictures with everyone! This has never happened in my family since my brother left on his mission in 1996. So now our family is even bigger and harder to get together for pictures so I am so glad we were finally able to do it. My brother Joel came up with his family from Texas so it was the perfect time to do it! I'll post pics when I get them. Josie and Hayden got to be with all their cousins from my side too! I love that my kids have so many cousins.... they are so lucky!
That week my parents stayed up in Park City and rented two big condos so we all took turns staying up there and playing. I took the kids up on Tuesday and didn't come home til Sunday! We had so much fun up there. Marcus came up and joined us on Thursday night. We loved running through the halls, swimming, riding the buses, shopping, riding bikes, eating, the elevators (or as Josie says the alligators) the kids play area, and especially being with cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents! Thanks so much mom and dad for letting us come hang out with you guys!
Really though I am so glad my kids have family and cousins to be with. I loved growing up with so many cousins so I love that my kids will have the same. Family is so great! Josie still keeps talking about "my cousins".

Easter Weekend Fun!

The Sunday before Easter.
Hayden was sick so he didn't get dressed up.

Coloring Easter eggs... Martha and Justin came over to help. I am surprised how much Josie and Hayden loved doing this. There hands were very stained afterwards.

Easter morning seeing what the Easter bunny brought them.

Sunday morning we drove up to my parents to watch Conference. After everyone came over for dinner and an Easter egg hunt. The kids even found some money in their eggs from Grandpa.

My little cheese ball!

All the kids getting ready to go find eggs.

And another one of Hayden coloring eggs!
I think it is kinds of funny that there are no pictures of Marcus and I but I seriously didn't get a single one of us this weekend. Oh well the kids are cuter anyway!

To the Zoo

One Saturday we thought, oh what can we do?
We made lots of suggestions, mine was the Zoo
and so we decided that would be fun!
and so off we went to smell the animal poo

It was a little cold, but we dressed up warm and snug
Each time we came to a new cage upon my arms my children would tug
They loved the the elephant, the giraffes, and the Monkeys a ton!
and we finished the day with a great big hug
