Easter

We spent easter up in Brigham City- Josie played with some baby chickens and ducks over at Annie's house (Jacque's Sister)

Rodeo

This past weekend we took Josie to a Rodeo. Mommy wanted to go... so I shrugged my shoulders and figured a couple hours wouldn't be too bad. Josie loved it! Watching her react to the horses and cows was well worth going. She got so excited to see the animals she would wave her arms and clap on the railing. We borrowed Owen's (our Nephew) cowboy hat and got a couple of really cute pictures of our little Josie PRETENDING to be a cowgirl like her mother :)

What does her shirt say?

So the news is out! Jacque is pregnant! Josie is going to be a big sister. We are all excited- and know that Josie will be a great big sister. Josie is now 6 months old, and will be 14 months older than her new sibling. Josie now eats fruits and baby food. She loves playing on the floor and has even started crawling already. We are all impressed with her. She does a funny thing while she is sitting on the floor- where she jumps up and pushes off with her feet- and actually catches a little air- then lands back on her bumb and does it again. It is hilarious to watch! We are in love with this little girl.

The thursday before Christmas

It is the Thursday before Christmas- just one more day of work till the weekend. We wanted to take some christmas pictures of Josie for Christmas cards.... but we put it off too long- maybe we will send out happy-new years cards with pictures of Josie instead. Josie is so fun now- she will try and talk, and make all sorts of funny noises. And every-once-in-a-while if your lucky you can catch a little bit of a giggle. She loves to suck on her shirts and she tries to get anybody and everybody's hand in her little mouth. If you are holding her she tries to slowly slide your hands up and up and then she will throw her head down with her tongue hanging out ready to slobber all over your fingers. She is funny. Personally I hate it when peoples hands are anywhere near her mouth- but she finds a way.... she is a funny little girl. She will also roll over now, from her back to her belly. When she gets there she does not know what to do - so she just lays her head down or cries. Its fun to watch. She has little ways to move around a little bit too. Ill put her down in one spot- and she will wiggle her way around and be a foot or two away from where I sat her down. But anyways- back to taking pictures for Christmas cards! haha i got distracted. We set up a little spot to take pictures and put this goofy baby Christmas hat on her head- she hated it. I started taking pictures- but she seamed to hate that too- so I got more candid pictures than happy Christmas baby pictures. Ill post a couple of my favorites-

Thanksgiving

For thanksgiving me Jac and Josie flew up to Washington state to be with the family. We had thanksgiving dinner at my uncles restaurant on woodby Island. We had a lot of fun- and went around Seattle. Josie was so cute with her relatives that she had never seen before (And I haven't seen in years!) It was a fun trip- The plane ride to and from was a breeze with Josie, she went right to sleep and slept the whole trip.

(Pictures finally added 3/23/08- but i took them with my fish-eye. The fountain in Seattle -2 of the nieces Anakah and Hannah, and one with everybody crammed into the elevator-)

Halloween

We found a cute little chili pepper costume at Target for Josie. We decided on it from the rest cause it was the one that fit the best... the others were kind of big. I took Josie over to Marcus's work in it so everyone could see her there. She didn't like it at first but then fell asleep. Marcus decided to be a caveman from the Geico commercial. He went to a make up artist at 6:30 in the morning before work. When he came home he called to me and when I saw him it really scared

me. He didn't look like my Marcus. He then went to work and later on we met up with him. I have to admit that I was glad when he finally took off his costume and cleaned up.

Our One Year Anniversary

It is crazy to think that a year has gone by since Marcus and I got married. So much has happened and changed. We are so happy though. We weren't sure what to do for our anniversary since we have little Josie and she is still so small. Our anniversary was on a Saturday. Friday night I went with Marcus up to Salt Lake to go to an art gallery. We met some of Marcus's friends from work. We didn't stay long cause it was the first time we had really left Josie with someone other than ourselves. Martha stayed and watched her. It was fun to get away for a few hours. The next day we went up to Salt Lake again but this time with Josie too. We stayed at the Plaza Hotel right by Temple Square. Our room had a huge jetted tub right in the front room of our suite. It was so much fun. Josie loved it. It was her first experience "swimming". We turned the jets on for her and she would cry when we turned them off...that is how much she loved them. We walked down to Olive Garden for dinner. It was raining outside and very cold or we would have walked around some more. We went back to our suite and enjoyed the tub and watched TV. The next morning we had an all you can eat buffet breakfast. We then went back and got ready to leave. The weather turned out to be nice on Sunday so we headed over to Temple Square to walk around. It was fun and brought back a lot of memories of the year before and getting married there. Hmmm... I wonder what next year will bring?!
